Festivals and celebrations
Our first week back was such fun! The children loved celebrating Halloween and exploring the different craft activities. We made masking tape mummies, Frankenstein pudding cups, pumpkin scooping and listened to Halloween songs.
The children really enjoyed the fireworks themed activities this week.
We have watched firework displays on the big screen and listened to the different sounds. The children loved printing fireworks with cardboard tubes and mark making in the tuff spot. We also decorated firework biscuits and joined Raccoon Class for Music Man Pete.
This week we were thinking about Remembrance Day. The children created a poppy wreath using red paint, made red playdough and stuck red paper to a poppy picture. As well as our creative times, Bobcat class has enjoyed forest school exploring, parachute games and lots of outside play.
This week we were thinking about the festival of Diwali. We had great fun creating pictures, lamps and exploring lights.
CHRISTMAS IS COMING……
We are having so much fun preparing for Christmas. Bobcats are loving the decorations and Christmas activities 🎄🎅
