The school, parents and governors share a common responsibility to keep our children safe. Child Protection procedures within any institution are subject to the current laws, regulations and circular set by Government (Children Act 1989) and the local authority, implemented by the Social Services. Updated circulars and relevant information are all kept within each school and held by the Safeguarding Leads. Whitfield Aspen School has developed a Safeguarding Policy (2023).
