This term our 'Points Party' will be held on the 9th of February and the theme will be pancakes! We will provide the ingredients for the pancakes and the children will have the opportunity to make their own in the school kitchen.
In order to earn themselves a place at the 'Points Party', the children must have reached their reading target. In Wombats, the children decided on their own target (with some guidance from adults) and in Mantatee Class targets were based on the previous term.
Please be reminded that the school expectation is that children should read with an adult at home, daily, for approximately 15 minutes- children are welcome to read more! The children are able to complete quizzes at home and can complete quizzes on books from home too.
We want every child to take part in the Points Party and get their chance to make a pancake or two. Children will also be able to bring in their own toppings to make the party extra fun.
