Chameleon

Welcome to Chameleon Class

 

We like to have fun in Chameleon class and be engaged in our learning. We make mistakes because they help us learn and we try to be as independent as possible. We enjoy learning inside and outside the classroom.

 

Class teacher: Sarah Sabin

Chameleon Class Timetable Term 3

Term 1

This term our topic is  history based we will be learning about the Great Fire of London; why it happened and what changes were made to ensure that it didn't happen again. We will also learn about how the Plague was impacted by the Great Fire of London

In Maths, we  follow the White Rose scheme and we will be focusing on counting, place value, partitioning, using manipulatives, addition and subtraction.

 

Tuesday - Music with Pete

Wednesday - PE (Please ensure your child has a PE kit in school) and swimming (will need to bring in a swimming kit each week)

New Class buddy

TERM 2

We started this term learning about Bonfire night and the story of Guy Fawkes. We also had a Fire Engine visit for fire safety day.

Our topic for this term is Geography based. We will be learning about two contrasting cities London and Lima in Peru. We will be learning about each city and how they are similar and different. We will be learning about their different fractures both natural and man-made.


We also have a new TA on our team Callie as Anya is on maternity leave.

Term 3

This term our topic is Science based, we will be learning all about magnets and forces.

We will be focusing on writing stamina in English and becoming more confident and independent.

In maths, we continue to follow the White Rose scheme and we will focusing on addition, subtraction and shapes.
