In Year 2, children have the opportunity to read regularly to adults in school, both in guided reading sessions and 1:1 reading as well.
Every week, your child will bring home a reading book. This may be from the Little Wandle Reading Scheme that we use in school or an Accelerated Reader book.
Please can you listen to your children read at home daily and record this in their reading records. We would love to hear how they are getting on reading at home and about any books they have found interesting or would like to share.
