Maths
As mathematicians, we continue our learning of place value and the value of each digit in a two-digit number. We will also be counting up in 10s.
Literacy
This week we will be learning about some of the grammatical features of sentences including: using commas in a list (Crabs live in oceans, fresh water or on land) and using a possessive apostrophe (the shark's teeth). We will also be writing sentences using conjunctions: because, and, but, so, or, and because.
PE
In PE we will be building on our gymnastics skills.
Geography
As geographers, we will compare the human (man-made) and physical (natural) features of urban, coastal and rural regions.
RE
We will be exploring some of the stories that Jesus told.
Music
As musicians, we will be listening to music that makes us think about the seaside.
Science
In our topic of animals, including humans, we will continue our learning by exploring the features of birds.
Art
We will research the portraits by a range of artists.
PSHE
In PSHE, we will be discussing different family groups.
ICT
We will investigate information technology in the world around us.
