Term one

What an incredible start to the year we've had in Year 5!

 

We kicked things off with a bang, celebrating World Recycling Day, singing our hearts out for the Harvest Festival, and taking on some mind-bending challenges during World Coding Day!

 

But that's not all; we've been busy learning too! We've explored grammar by diving into subjects, verbs, and even gerunds (do you know what a gerund is?). In maths, we've mastered numbers up to one million and tackled five-digit addition and subtraction like pros.

 

Our curiosity has taken us to new heights - quite literally - as we've discovered the wonders of magnificent mountains and blasted off into the solar system as space explorers.

 

Year 5 have truly risen to every challenge this term with enthusiasm and determination. We can’t wait to see where Term 2 takes us next!
