Foundation Subjects

In music, we will be listening to pieces of music inspired by the seaside. We will consider which percussion instruments to choose to create the sounds of the seaside, then use this to create our own 8 bar piece of music.

As artists, we are looking at a range of portraits by different artists. We will then use our research to create our own portraits.

In ICT, we are learning about the different types of Information technology we use in our everyday lives.

In computing, we will be investigating information technology in the world around us.

As geographers, we will be answering the question 'Why do we love being by the seaside so much?'. We will explore the difference between urban, rural and coastal areas and compare the human and physical features in areas around the UK.
