Transport 

Our learning will be through these themes:

We had great fun driving cars and lorries through paint and bubbly water and our car sandwiches were delicious 😋.

🚂🚇🚄🚆

The children loved engaging with the small world train station 💚 and driving the trains through dry food to create patterns.

Our Swiss roll trains were fun to make and we had a great time printing trains on a track and wheels on a train. 
 

🚁✈️🛩️🚁🛫🎈

We used cotton tips to follow the patterns on the hot air balloon and had so much fun using balloons to print patterns. Our Swiss roll trains were so good we changed them into helicopters 😄

The foam cloud runway and airport had us flying planes and helicopters through the air .

⛵️🛶🚢🛳️🚤

What a wet week we have had 🌧️. But we didn’t mind because we were having a great time sailing boats and exploring water play. We added characters to the boats to see how many they would hold before they sunk! We lined up all the boats and had a race too. This week we also created boats out of shapes, followed mark making patterns with different tools and made the most amazing boats in our cooking session.

We really enjoyed exploring diggers and dumper trucks. This week we drove them through paint, picked up different materials and created digger pictures using cereal to represent the load.

🚑🚒🚐🚓.    🐣🐰🐇🥚

Nee Nah…..Nee Nah… emergency! We made traffic light biscuits, drove fire engines through red ‘fire’ slime and completed shape puzzles to make an emergency picture. 
 

The Easter Bunny came to visit us 🐇. We made Easter egg cards using paint and a potato masher and explored our Easter themed tray looking for chicks, eggs and bunnies.
