Whitfield Aspen School have been very lucky to be able to visit and experience a farming environment at Woodpecker Court Farm.
Experienced staff with a wealth of animal knowledge provide some of our children from Yr1, 2 and Special Provision an opportunity to learn and encounter farm animals up close and personal.
Our children will directly experience the science involved in what animals need to survive.
They will also develop responsibility and learn to become active, positive citizens in society, as part of the PSHE curriculum and British values.
