Welcome to Year 3
Hello everyone, welcome back to Term 6, in your virtual classrooms. We were very impressed with the work that was completed on Purple Mash last term and many of you have collected a huge number of rewards for the effort and thought you have put into each task. It is really important that you try every task as this will help keep your skills up-to-date and give you a good start when we do return to school.
Don't forget to keep reading every day as this will help you to relax and drift off into other imaginary worlds, it will also improve your thinking and writing skills. If you look at the links further down this page you will find one for Renaissance which gives you FREE access to lots of different books that are linked to the Accelerated Reader quizzes.
If you would like a challenge over this term there are a selection of summer challenges on the main page, just select Class Pages and you will see a Sun icon that will take you to the activities. Good luck!
With best wishes
Mrs Cooper, Mrs Griffiths and Mrs Hogben

Renaissance Free Online Reading Books
School may be closed but reading doesn't have to stop. Renaissance our Accelerated Reader provider is providing free access to 1000's of digital books through 'MyOn' their online reading platform.
As as a school we have been given access for an extended period of time so that children can continue their reading during the Summer Holiday.
Have fun and keep up the super reading.
Here is the link for you to take quizzes on the books you have been reading at home. If you can't remember your login details just click on 'Forgot User Name' and then type in your surname and 'Search'.
The books you have at home won't have a quiz number inside them like they do at school so just type in the title of you book and you can search for the quiz this way.
We will log on regularly to see how well you are doing with your reading.
Each week at school the children are taught a new Makaton sign, to help them practise while they are learning at home use the link below to access the Let's Talk Makaton website to see their 'sign of the week'.
