Year 3 - Zebra and Giraffe

Welcome to Year 3

Term 1

 

We would like to take this opportunity to welcome you and your children to Year 3. The teachers are: Mrs. Hogben supported by Mrs. Adams  in Giraffe Class and Mrs. Griffiths supported by Mrs. Proudlock, Cheryl and Emma in Zebra Class.

 

The children have settled into their new classes well and we look forward to sharing their learning journey with you as the year progresses through our class pages. Please check for regular updates!

 

Look at the links to different websites at the bottom of this page to support and enhance your child's learning experience.

 

This term the children will need to wear their PE /Games kits (blue shorts, white T-shirt, plimsolls/trainers with a tracksuit or equivalent over the top) to school on Mondays and Thursdays.   Please can we ask that all long hair is tied up and earrings are removed or covered with earing tape on PE/Games days which needs to be provided from home. The children will be staying in their PE/Games kits all day on these days.

 

For the time being, the children can only bring their reading books home but not their reading record books. The children can update their reading record books when they are in school. Please can you remind your child to bring their reading book back into school every day.

 

The children are welcome to bring in fruit for morning play as fruit is not provided for children in Key Stage 2.   

 

We look forward to working with you to enable your child to achieve their full potential and have a successful year in Year 3.
