Welcome to Year 3
It is now our official Easter break! Some of you will still be coming into school for the Easter Holiday Club over the next two weeks - Joe and Danny have got some great activities planned to keep you active.
The next two weeks is your time to have a break from home-learning if you wish but if you would like something to keep you busy there are two activities on Purple Mash that you could try: a postcard and an Easter holiday diary. We are looking forward to reading your work.
After Easter there will be more home-learning activities added to Purple Mash. You will receive Alerts on Monday, 20th April to remind you to complete these tasks by Friday, 24th March. There will be a variety of activities to complete for all the subjects you usually learn at school. To give you some help before you begin some of the tasks there are some helpful videos and games hiding behind the subject icons, below. Click on the pictures to reveal the extra activities.
Of course, you still need to practise the times tables with Times Tables Rockstars and read, read, read.
If you are trying to find something more physically active to do at home there is a link further down this page to Cosmic Kids Yoga (on YouTube). Or, you could try the Joe Wicks daily PE session available here. Over the next few days we will be adding some new online learning links to the list below, so look out for these and give them a try.
BLOG: each class now has a blog page on Purple Mash. To find it select the Sharing tab at the top of your Purple Mash page, then select Class Blog. You can read the blog and add comments, questions and ideas. Some children have already added messages which we have enjoyed reading.
We hope you all have a peaceful, healthy and safe Easter

Keep up the great reading and have fun!
Here is the link for you to take quizzes on the books you have been reading at home. If you can't remember your login details just click on 'Forgot User Name' and then type in your surname and 'Search'.
The books you have at home won't have a quiz number inside them like they do at school so just type in the title of you book and you can search for the quiz this way.
We will log on regularly to see how well you are doing with your reading.
Each week at school the children are taught a new Makaton sign, to help them practise while they are learning at home use the link below to access the Let's Talk Makaton website to see their 'sign of the week'.
