Welcome Back To School!
WOW, we can't believe that it is Term 6 and nearly the end of our year with Giraffes & Zebras. We are looking forward to sharing lots of exciting learning opportunities with the children and bringing together all of the skills they have been developing during the year in our Roman Week and Jurassic Maths Project........watch this space!
A few of reminders about school:
Monday and Thursday are our Games/PE days so children need to come to school in their Games/PE kits with long hair tied back and earrings remove or covered with tape.
Reading Books to be returned to school daily, Spelling Folders and Home Learning Books on a Monday and Times Table Books/Folders on a Friday.

Roman Week
This week the children will have the opportunity to learn about life in Roman Times, experiencing what it would have been like to have been a child growing up in Ancient Rome at a time very different to our own.
The children will have the opportunity to make and use Roman Wax tablets, learn to speak Latin, buy produce using authentic Dinarii and create traditional Roman dishes. They will also be learning what it takes to train as a Roman Gladiator and debate topics as members of the Senate.
