World Book Day 2020

As a school we will be celebrating World Book Day on Thursday 5th March.

This year, for a change, we are inviting children to come in on this day dressed up as an ‘Adventurous Adjective’. For example the adjective valiant may make you think of knights or sailors, brave often conjures up images of policemen, firefighters or Robin Hood. Other adjectives describe appearance rather than character, for example vibrantglamorous or sparkly. It would be great if the adjective they have chosen is visible somewhere on their costume.

There will be prizes for the most original and adventurous costumes.

World Book Day tokens will be given out to your child after half-term and we will be holding a
Book Fair after school from Thursday 19th – Tuesday 24th March.

Have a great half-term break.
