Week 4

Monday 28th September  - Friday 2nd October

Wow! We cannot believe that we are already halfway through Term1. The children are getting to know the new routines and are setting in well to Year 5. This week we continued our work on The Kingdom of Benin and completed our reports, which look amazing and contain lots of interesting facts and language features (we will post pictures of these on the individual class pages when ready!). They also completed their own Benin clay tiles which represent the religion and artwork of the Benin people. This year they really have done remarkably well! Pictures to follow on class pages.

Our theme of Africa continues with African drumming and the start of the Yoruba Creation Story, in addition to Black History Month. We hope your children are enjoying the learning opportunities so far and we look forward to another busy week.

A Quick Reminder

Please make sure your child brings a coat to school, especially on wet days, we have had a few soggy children coming into school! Also once again if we can keep  items from home at home this would be great, children do not need to bring in toys, pencil cases etc.

Hope you all have a lovely week, don't forget if you need us to contact us on our email:
