Wednesday 27th January

Good Morning everyone! Today is Wednesday 27th January. Lets start our day by jumping 27 times. Say the number names as you jump. Now can you stretch up high and then touch the floor 27 times! 

What is the weather like today? It has been very cold this week. You will need to wrap up warm if you go outside for a walk!

Literacy Challenge

On Monday we made a card for The Three Bears. The card that Goldilocks made had a rainbow on it. 

At school we learn Makaton signs to help us with our learning and singing. We would like you to listen to the Rainbow song and learn the Makaton signs for the colours. You could then perform this to your family or record yourself singing and send it to your teacher. Have fun! You could have a go at writing the colours of the rainbow. Remember to use your phonic skills to sound out the words.

Maths Challenge

This week Goldilocks is finding ways to say sorry to the Bears. Today she has decided to share her toy cars with the bears. Look at the pictures below. How many toy cars does Goldilocks have? Can you count them? 

Goldilocks shares her cars with Baby Bear, Mummy Bear and Daddy Bear. How many cars do they have each? Are there any cars left over?

We would like you to practise sharing at home. If you don't have any toy cars you could use crayons, dolls, toy animals or books. You could share the toys with your teddies or your family members.
