Literacy Challenge

In Literacy today we would like you to listen to and learn the song, 'When Goldilocks went to the house of the Bears,' by clicking on the link below. Can you perform the song to your family? You might want to make up some actions to help you remember the song.

Maths Challenge

In maths today we would like you to continue to practise measuring the height of objects. You could measure some of your toys or other objects around the house.

Look at the pictures below. How tall are each of the objects. Remember to speak in full sentences when talking about your learning. You can take photos or draw the objects and write how tall they are. 

Which object / toy is the tallest and shortest? Have fun measuring!

Phonics

In phonics today we would like the children to continue to practise the sounds and tricky words by playing Flashcard Speed Trial and Tricky Word Trucks. We would also like them to have a go at the 'Grab a Giggling Grapheme,' game. You can select the sounds that you would like your child to practise. Have fun!

Reading

It is important to continue to read at home with your child and share stories with them. There are also some phonic books on the 'To Do' section of Purple Mash.

We would like your child to play 'Pick a Picture,' today by following the link below. You can choose which Phase your child completes. Encourage them to say the sounds and blend to read the words. They may need some support.
