Well done to all of you for completing the home learning tasks yesterday. It was lovely to see the photographs of the flowers and plants that you have growing in your gardens now that Spring has finally arrived!
We will start our day with our morning exercises.
In Literacy this week we are going to keep a food diary, just like the Very Hungry Caterpillar. Draw a picture of something you have eaten today. It could be your breakfast, lunch or tea. Then write a sentence remembering a capital letter, finger spaces and a full stop. You can ask a grown up to help you.
Remember today is Tuesday. Here is a sentence to help you. Can you read it?
On Tuesday I had a ham sandwich.
The birds are also looking for food in the garden. Have a look at the link below and ask a grown up if they can help you make a bird feeder. There are 3 different ones to choose from.
Here are some pictures of the fruit shop that we have in school, for today's maths I would like you to have a go at playing shops! Set up your own shop, it can sell whatever you would like- get someone to play with you, taking turns at being the customer and the shopkeeper.
When you want to buy something think about how much money you need to give to the shopkeeper- how much money do you have left afterwards?
Have a go at writing down the takeaway sums for what you are buying , remember when working with money you need to put 'p' for pence!
