Good Morning Everyone!
Today is Tuesday 2nd February! To get ready for our learning today we are going to be doing some exercise.
Click on the link below and complete one of the challenges. Have fun!
In the story the Three Little Pigs make homes for them to live in. The straw house and the stick house are not very strong and the Wolf blows them down. The brick house is very strong!
We would like you to build a strong house for the Three Little Pigs. You could use wooden or plastic blocks. You might want to try using cardboard boxes. You can then label your work. You could make the Three Little pigs some furniture.
This week we are learning about shapes. Yesterday we looked at a picture of the Three Little Pigs house and talked about the shapes we could see.
Today we would like you to go on a shape hunt around your house. What shape are your windows and doors? What other shapes can you find. Have a look at the pictures below. What shapes can you see?
Remember to keep practising phonics everyday. You can watch Mrs Tingeys videos and complete her challenges, play the games on Phonics Play or use the paper packs that we sent home to help you learn.
Here are some links to BBC Bitesize phonics videos. Some of you may need to practise Phase 2 and some of you will need to practise Phase 3. Select the sounds you find tricky to watch. You could also select the sounds that Mrs Tingey has been teaching you.
