Literacy Challenge

Today, Goldilocks has made new chairs for each of the Bears using blocks. Can you make a chair for Baby Bear, a chair for Mummy Bear and a chair for Daddy Bear. You could use blocks or card board boxes to make the chairs. Write a label for each of the chairs. Ask a grown up to help you.

Maths Challenge

Its cold outside today, so the Bears have decided to stay indoors and read books in their new chairs. 

We would like you to find some books at home and measure how long they are. How long is your longest book? How long is your shortest book? Can you find 5 books and order them from shortest to longest?

Look at the photographs below. How many cubes long is the first book? How many cubes long is the second book? How many cubes long is the third book?
