Volcanoes and Earthquakes

  • For this week's task, you need to watch the video link below to 3:14. Most of you will have watched the first minute of this two weeks ago so you will recognise it! We will be watching more of the video next week.

Key Stage 2: Mountains, volcanoes and earthquakes

A Key Stage 2 overview of the geography of mountains, volcanoes and earthquakes.

  • You now need to draw and label a diagram of the structure of the earth. Make sure you include the inner core, outer core, mantle and crust. Find round things to draw around to keep it neat (or use a compass if you have one). Colour it in neatly with coloured pencils.

  • Make sure you take a photo of your finished diagram and either send it to us via your blog on Purple Mash or email it to us using our class email address. You will gain a point for completing this task.
