L.I. What happens to the circulatory system during exercise?

Last week you learnt about how the circulatory system works and the role of platelets, white blood cells, red blood cells and plasma.  In class Mrs Betts dissected some lambs hearts, if you haven't seen the video yet, please watch it before you start this lesson - go to the Year 6 home page, week 3, science, it's at the bottom of the page.

This week will require you to measure your pulse (how quickly your heart is beating), practice before you watch the lesson video.

Please do all the writing and exercise activities explained in the video and take a photo of your written work and attach to your blog so we can mark you off on our home learning list.
