We have been reading 'The Three Little Pigs' and 'The Three Little Wolves' stories in our Literacy lessons. Here is another traditional tale, but this one is from Australia. It is called 'Tiddalik the Frog'.
In the first part of 'Tiddalik the Frog', Tiddalik is so thirsty that he drinks all the water in the streams, then the rivers and finally the billabongs. The other animals - Kookaburra, Koala, Dingo, Emu and Kangaroo - have no water to drink and don't know what to do.
The music activity focuses on copying rhythm patterns and the listening music explores the didgeridoo.
Watch the story video first, which tells you the story of 'Tiddalik the Frog'. Then watch and join in with the music tutorial video (first video, at the top of the screen).
