Measure Mass in Kilograms

Today you are going to use your knowledge of measuring mass in grams to start to measure mass in kilograms. You will need to use your counting skills in 2s, 5s and 10s to measure on different scales.

Ask an adult if you have some objects at home which weigh 1 kilogram.  You might have a bag of sugar or flour.  It would be good to lift an object which weighs 1 kilogram to understand what 1 kilogram feels like.

Now, watch the video and complete the worksheet.
