Addition and Subtraction

This week, we are going to return to some addition and subtraction work.  The videos are here for you to watch, and worksheets are provided on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday.  Tuesday and Friday are activity days, so no worksheets are provided.  You may find it helpful to use some equipment to help you with the calculations.  You could use coins (10p and 1p), dried pasta pieces or Lego bricks.  Anything which you have available at home.

Monday

In today's lesson, you will be adding a 2-digit number to a 1-digit number.  However, you need to be careful, as you will be crossing a 10s number, so you need to think about partitioning.

Watch the video, and complete the worksheet when you are told to do so.
