Concrete, or shape, poems
We are reading Cloud Busting, by Malorie Blackman, and have created some concrete poems inspired by her book. Can you see what shape each poem has been written in?
Tudor bows and arrows
Manatee class have really enjoyed designing, making and evaluating the design process of making their own bows and arrows. The arrows fly especially well! They have been warned, several times, not to aim and shot them at other people!
The Tudors - Battle of Bosworth
As part of our topic this term, we have been creating replica bow and arrows. This is a selection of the children's models so far. Check back next week once we have made our full sized versions!
Affinity Water activity morning.
Affinity Water joined us this morning to help show the children the importance of water conservation. This has been the second year running and we have always been impressed with the resources and activities they bring in; I think you can see this in the photos we have taken.
They worked well in their teams and I was impressed at how everyone collaborated together to supply their towns, it did feel that everyone had a voice.
A super way to end the term and I apologise now if you find yourselves being told to turn the taps off or that your showers were too long :)
