In the story, Goldilocks sits on the bears chairs and sleeps in their beds. Daddy Bears chair is too hard and Mummy Bears chair is too soft. Your challenge today is to find objects in your house that are hard and soft.
Can you say what the objects are made of? You could draw a picture of the objects you find and label them, 'hard' or 'soft'.
Look at the pictures below. Do you think they are hard or soft? Do you know what they are made of?
This week in maths we have been learning to measure height. You have been measuring your teddy bears and your toys. Today we would like you to find some different sized shoes around your house. Whose shoes are the longest and whose are the shortest? Can you put them in order from the shortest to the longest.
You can use blocks to measure how long they are.
Look at the photos below of Daddy Bear, Mummy Bear and Baby Bears boots. How many cubes long are they?
In Phonics today we would like you to play the, 'Buried Treasure,' game on Phonics Play. Click on the link below to find it. Read the words and then decide if they are real or rubbish words. You can talk to a grown up about the meaning of the words. Try the Phase 2 game first and if you are feeling confident you can try Phase 3. Have fun!
