Term 6 - Kensuke's Kingdom

In Term 6 we would normally be reading Kensuke's Kingdom by Michael Morpurgo, and we'd still like to continue this via home learning.

Further down the page you will find a booklet of activities that you can download and print out at home. There are 12 different activites to complete after you've read the book.

If you can't print it out, we have some booklets ready to collect from school on Monday 1st June, along with a copy of the book (please look after the book, and return it to school when we are all back together).

If you would rather listen to the book or can't get to school to pick up a copy, it is available on audible as part of their free trial: https://www.audible.co.uk/pd/Kensukes-Kingdom-Audiobook/B005IHGQAI

We believe videos of teachers reading the story are also available on YouTube.

Unlike with Stormbreaker, we haven't been able to secure permission to share audio of us reading the book on this website sad.

We've also added some activities as 2Dos to Purple Mash which will be available on Monday 8th June (to give you time to read the book) if you would rather complete the tasks electronically. The tasks will make more sense if you read/listen to the book first.

We're looking forward to seeing what you produce!
