Support for home learning in the event of a school or class closure

In the event of a school closure work will be set for your children on Purple Mash and Education City. (They have received their pupil log in details during term 1). If time and forewarning allows, the children will also receive a folder of activities they can engage in at home.

You may wish to try using these sites at home to help with your child's learning:

https://www.topmarks.co.uk/maths-games/5-7-years/counting

If you child is finding these activities too hard please choose the 3-5 years tab.

If they are too easy please choose the 7-11 years tab.

https://www.educationcity.com

Lots of activities have been set for each child.  Have a look through and choose some to do.  Activities have been set for Phonics, English, Maths and Topic.

I will be setting tasks each week. Please check out the 2Dos tab at the top when your child is logged in.  Please repeat the set tasks until you can get 100%. I will be logging on to see how well you are doing! Thank you to those of you who have been logging in and doing your work.  Please remember to save your work so I can mark it and upload some onto our class display board.

'Books give us somewhere to escape to when we don't like where we are'

Your children might be finding this period difficult, strange and unsettled. Stories are a lovely way to escape, and it helps with their learning too.
