Dance
Dance Club is run by Mrs Betts, one of the Year 6 teachers, after school on Thursdays. This year's show piece was inspired by the book: 'Wonder' by R.J. Palacio. The children have explored the different reactions displayed to those less fortunate in society and use the motto: 'Choose Kind' from the book as a stimulus to resolve each characters' behaviours.
In March the children gave two amazing performances as part of Astor College for the Arts' 'Pick up the beat' show, which showed how much their confidence and dance skills had flourished as a result of their focused work in lessons.
