We have recorded our results into our bean diaries and are very excited to see what happens next!

Hi Caterpillar Class

Please check the Year 1 shared area for the new updated work for this term. Go to the remote learning icon and all the work and links you need are there.

Send any work to the Caterpillar email so I can see how they are doing. You do not need to send everything.

If you need any further help please email me so we can discuss the matter further.

Mrs Boxell

Dear parents and my lovely Caterpillars,

With welcoming some children back Monday, bought further sadness Tuesday when all Schools were told to shut again and children to learn from home. We are looking into the best ways of doing this for our children and have already put work to be done at home on our shared Year 1 area. There are lots of challenges to be done on the rainbow and of course reading and staying active is equally important.

Although I cannot see each of you in person, I am here for you as much as I can be and parents remember to use class email if you need to get in contact.

Please do not feel under pressure during this time and do what you can do with your child, we have got this! We will not let this lockdown beat us!

Stay safe and sending virtual hugs

Mrs Boxell

We want to wish everybody a very Happy Christmas. Love Caterpillar Class xxx

Caterpillar Class have made special Christmas party invitations for Jingle to take back to Santa. We want him to join us for our class party. The children have produced amazing invitations and we are all feeling very hopeful that Jingle will stay an extra day! Watch this space!!!!!!!

Dear Parents of Caterpillar Class

Please can you listen to your child read and write their rainbow words daily. Once completed, please email evidence or send a copy in their reading wallet so I can change it promptly.

Thank you

Mrs Boxell

Caterpillar Class made crowns this afternoon for Queen Elizabeth. What do you think? We are very proud of them

The children have loved making the reindeers for our Advent Class Christmas display! We may have had a visit from an elf last night too.......but the question is will be good or naughty????

We designed and made our own melting snowmen biscuits in DT. All the children worked hard with their designs and loved the making process, we had lots of fun this afternoon!

We collected leaves in our forest school session and then painted them and printed them to create our own hedgehogs!

We made Colour monster 'feeling' jars!
