The children have loved making their Christmas Elves for our class window. I think you will agree how wonderful it looks........
In art this week, the children used clay to create 3D faces of themselves. They had to think about the main features of their face to add detail and interest to their model. I think you will all agree how wonderfully they all turned out and the uncanny resemblance!
Our challenge this week in Art was to create something using recycled materials. We decided to make Sea Turtles using egg boxes and looked at the ways we can look after our planet and the creatures in it.
Today in Art we have been looking at and talking about objects special to us and because we all love our class bear (James Poley Polar Bear), we decided to take our own pictures with him and choose the emotion we wanted to portrait. Can you tell from our faces, how we feel???
Today both Schools have been learning about World Peace and Polar Bear Class decided to make Doves carrying the Olive branch. The children were thoroughly engaged in the task and produced some wonderful work.....
