We hope you all had a good weekend (despite the rain!).
The 8th June marks World Oceans Day - which is very fitting as we are reading a book about a boy who was travelling the world on a boat
There are some wonderful activities taking place on this site: https://worldoceanday.school/
Some of the highlights:
10:30am: Pollution Problems with Ocean Conservation Trust
1:00pm: Blue Yoga with Natalie Fox
4:00pm: Songs for Ocean
You could create an eye catching poster to put in your window to make people think about our oceans a bit more? We found a colouring page here that you could colour in if you'd like?
Mrs Avery has updated the French and Music sections of the Year 5 page with activites that she thinks you'll find interesting. You can find them here:
Keep an eye on Purple Mash for some new 2Dos this week and Classroom Secrets for maths activities.
And...there are three new challenges over on the Whole School Challenges section. Which one will you attempt this week?
Have a good week everyone,
Mrs Thornhill, Mrs Tierney and Mr Lowrey
