15th - 19th June

We hope you all had a lovely weekend and are all ready for another week.

Over on Purple Mash, there are some 2Dos for Kensuke's Kingdom (some of you have been working away at these already smiley).

There will be some other 2Dos added there as well, so keep an eye out for those!

There are three new challenges up that you might like to have a go involves marshmallows laugh

Check them out here: If you want to join in, just email a photo of what you've created to and it will appear in the Week 3 Gallery.

Something else that you might like to start this week is your Independent Project. Every year during this term, we ask everyone in Year 5 to create a project about something they are interested in or know lots about.

In previous years, children have chosen;

  • Cub Scouts
  •  Chocolate
  •  WW2
  •  Roller Coasters
  •  Favourite Authors

You can create it in PowerPoint or as a paper project in a folder. There is more information about it here:

Remember to keep up with your reading. If you are running out of books at home, you can still access thousands of books here: (7,101 to be precise, including comics).

Check your Classroom Secrets Kids accounts for some nice maths activities - and remember you can go on TT Rockstars, Prodigy Maths and Guardians of Mathematica too.

Keep in touch with us over on the Purple Mash Blog or by emailing us. We really enjoy hearing from you!
