Year 3 - Zebra & Giraffe

Welcome to Year 3

The teachers are Mrs. Hogben, supported by Mrs. Watson and Heather Ashman in Giraffe Class and Mrs. Griffiths, supported by Mrs. Clarke and Mrs. Smurthwaite in Zebra Class.

Now we are entering Term 2, the children have settled well into Year 3 and have enjoyed taking part in Forest School and learning new subjects including French and Recorders in Music. This term we have many more exciting activities planned including all of the build up to Christmas!

The children will need their indoor PE kits (blue shorts, white T-shirt, plimsolls) on Wednesdays and outdoor Games kits (preferably trainers and warm top/bottoms for colder months) on Mondays. These can be left in school on their pegs. Please can we ask that all long hair is tied up and earrings are removed or covered with earing tape on PE days.

The children are welcome to bring in fruit for morning play as fruit is not provided for children in Key Stage 2.

We look forward to working with you to enable your child to achieve their full potential and have a successful year in Year 3.
