Museum of Kent Life WW2 trip
In February 2018 we visited the Museum of Kent Life for a World War 2 day. We experienced the ARP Warden, Dig for Victory, The Home Guard, Rug Making and the RAF navigation. Also, we particularly enjoyed the rationing and black market talk. All the actors we very good and we thoroughly enjoyed the whole day.
Harry Potter Studios visit 2017
In the autumn of 2017, year 6 visited the Warner Bros Studios where the Harry Potter films were made. This visit enhanced our learning and enjoyment as we studied Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone in class.
In science have been learning about electrical circuits. We faced the challenged of creating an electrical scarecrow which could produce sound, light and movement. Many of us created a parallel circuit, powered by batteries, which was controlled by switches.
